Welcome to The Quiet Place with God. This website aims to share with you my love for God and is a quiet sanctuary on the web with Bible verses, inspirational writings and hymns.

With our busy lives, it can be difficult to find daily quiet time of solitude with God. However, taking time to commune with God is crucial for us to maintain our spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health. We need this to re-energize and find strength to deal with daily challenges.

Even Jesus would often go to a quiet place to pray to our Father:

Early in the morning, while it was still dark,  Jesus got up and slipped out to a solitary place to pray ~Mark 1:35

But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed ~ Luke 5:16

After He had sent them away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. When evening came,  He was there alone ~ Matthew 14:23

We can always find some time during the day to go to our Father in prayer. Sometimes, in the middle of a busy day, we might really need to pray to God and seek His counsel, but it’s difficult to find that physical place of peace. Even then, we can find that quiet place inside of us and take a few moments to silently remember a beloved Bible verse or say a prayer for strength, guidance or to say thanks to God.

The Quiet Place with God is my peaceful refuge with  Bible verses, hymns, inspirational quotes and stories to share with you. However I am a student, not a teacher of the Word and I encourage you to get to know God our Savior with the help of a good pastor from your local church. This is particularly so if you are very new to the Word and have many questions that a learned teacher can answer.

Daily prayer and reading of God’s Word is for me, an essential part of my day. It gives me strength, guidance, peace and builds my faith in Him. It is my hope that in this quiet sanctuary  on the web you can find your soul strengthened by reading some of God’s Word. You are always welcome here and I hope you will continue to grow in your faith and love for our Heavenly Father.

God bless you. ~A.
