God’s Word about Depression

Many  of us go through periods when we experience pain and discouragement. We withdraw into ourselves and can feel very isolated amongst people who may not understand all that we’re feeling. Sometimes these seasons can last many months or even years and it can be very difficult to see beyond the grey that fills our emotional and spiritual filter.

It is important that we continually meditate on God’s Words and pray for His guidance and counsel. His Words are, truly our spiritual daily bread and sustains us more than physical food can. As we go through life’s ebbs and flows, especially during times when we feel downhearted, it is important that focus on God and reach out for His Hand. He will heal and carry us during our times of trial.

~God bless
