The Day that Changed the World

Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit” ~Luke 23:46.

Good Friday is a pivotal day in human history. On that day, Jesus saved the world by giving up His life as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.

He suffered the cruelest persecution, shame and torture to prevent us from having to pay the punishment for our sins. Although it was day of devastation, it was also a day of victory of good over evil.

However you observe Good Friday, I hope dear Reader we share in the sombre reflection and gratitude of Jesus’ goodness. He lived a life of complete obedience to our Heavenly Father to the point of death on the cross to ensure our salvation. He died with dignity and courage before committing His Spirit back to GOD. On that day, He brought us back to the family of GOD.

Praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ!

God bless ~ Mary
