It’s the evening of the 2nd of March 2023 here in Australia and I’ve just ended a particularly busy day. Today was my father’s birthday. He’s getting older now and I took annual leave from work to prepare his birthday party. I tend to worry these days about my parents. I used to grumble about finding the time to help my parents. Now, I cherish opportunities to spend time with my family. I want to appreciate my parents as much as I can.

God tells us in Exodus 20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you”. GOD has blessed us with family and, I hope for all of us, loving and caring parents. It truly is a privilege to care for them and appreciate the time we have together. May GOD bless your family and may we all be blessed with time to spend with our parents.
