Have you ever heard the song “Before the Morning”? by Josh Wilson? It’s one of my favorite songs and I was listening to it again just recently. The words have always struck a chord with me. Sometimes we go through periods in our life when thing seem dark. Times when we’re filled with anxieties and worries. Sometimes sadness.

But just like the dark inevitably gives way to dawn, so too our troubles and sadness will cease. You see, GOD holds us throughout the darkness. Even though we can’t see Him, the knowledge that He is there can bring us comfort. And GOD will see see us through to a good result.

Dear Reader, if this finds you in one of those dark times, I hope you remember that it will pass. Your anxieties, worries and troubles will give way to joy. God tells us in Psalm 30:5 that GOD’s favour last a lifetime. “Weeping may endure for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning”.

I hope dear Reader, you remember those Words. If you’re not there yet, you have something good to look forward to. Because as surely as day turns into night, the “pain that you’ve been feeling ..can’t compare to the joy that’s coming”.
