God, our Comforter and Friend

beach1

There are times when we go through trials and very hurtful periods in life. When we are in such pain that we almost don’t know where to turn.

During those times we can trust in God our Comforter and Friend to give us strength to overcome those challenges. His Holy Spirit lives in our hearts, giving us courage, counsel and strength. We can also trust that those times of trials are only temporary and that God will be with us even while we are at our lowest for He said “blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4).  Moreover we know that soon, Jesus will return and “will wipe every tear” we had shed. That there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever” (Revelations 21:4)

What a relief it is to know that God is  with us during all our trials and that He will always stand with, and guide us. What wonderful hope and joy it is to know that soon, He will come again and then there will be no more tears, heartaches or pain. For that wonderful day to come at last!

~ God bless you
