“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him.” 1 Corinthians 1:27-29

Sometimes the every day duties of life feel mediocre. Get up in the morning. Shower. Have coffee. Work, work work. Then home and go to bed. But in between those tasks, we have numerous chances to do good. It may be just helping an older person cross the road or asking a colleague are you okay? God placed within us all of us the power to do extraordinary things just by doing the normal, every day tasks diligently, with care for others and in service to Him. It’s the impact we have on others that makes the ordinary just that little bit better. I hope you have an extraordinary day today 🙂
